Executive Director — Residential Treatment Center (PRTF)

Description

We’re partnering with a new behavioral health organization to find an Executive Director in Maryland. On-site, this opportunity centers on helping establish a youth residential treatment program from the ground up.

Executive Director — Residential Treatment Center (PRTF) Responsibilities:

• Direct the facility’s daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, compliance, budgeting, census, admissions, and discharges.
• Maintain full accountability for the center’s operational, regulatory, and clinical performance.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Director on treatment planning and psychiatric and nursing coverage.
• Lead incident response while ensuring alignment with state licensing and behavioral health regulations.
• Guide the program’s launch and establish its staffing approach, culture, and clinical standards.

Executive Director — Residential Treatment Center (PRTF) Qualifications:

• Demonstrated hands-on leadership as an Executive Director, Administrator, or CEO of a licensed RTC or PRTF.
• Fluency in state licensing standards and CMS and behavioral health regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing the business, operational, and clinical functions of a residential treatment facility.
• A master’s degree or higher in School Administration and Supervision.
• Maryland residency or willingness to relocate to Maryland; experience launching a program through initial admissions is preferred.
